Advocacy for Equality: Marshall has been a tireless advocate for equality, with a particular focus on the rights and well-being of the transgender community. Her work has been instrumental in raising awareness about the challenges faced by transgender individuals and promoting policies that ensure their fair treatment under the law.

Community Leadership: Marshall, has a proven track record of community leadership, having assisted with a community outreach program that directly services youth with a parent or family member who is currently or formerly incarcerated. Marshall was also named the Co-Chair of the Trans Wellness Coalition, the curator of the largest networking summit for gender expansive individuals in the state.  Marshall has helped with providing services to those who may be underserved or find themselves in the margins. 

Policy Vision: As a candidate, Marshall stands for; equality, LGBTQIA+ rights and protections, mental health resources and access, women’s rights, and racial justice, emphasizing her commitment to creating a more just, inclusive, and equitable society for all.

Inclusive Representation: Marshall recognizes the importance of inclusive representation in government. Her candidacy represents a step towards a more diverse and reflective democracy, ensuring that the voices of marginalized communities are heard and respected.
